how to eliminates AC spikes

I have a dedicated/separated AC mains for my audio system, when I use my BIII DAC I have AC spikes that causes dropouts, I know that AC spikes are caused by central heating when starts the heating, I remember that I can connect 01,uF 400VAC in the AC inlet where is connected the central heating but don't remember if I have to connected between hot & neutral or other way, could you help me?
 
Yes I'm sure it's an AC spike because occurs when I hear the temperature controller central heating starts. I use John's Risch AC power conditioner filter. What's a brownout?

A brownout is when you have a voltage drop on your main A.C. line. A blackout is zero voltage - a brown out would be like dropping the voltage of a 120 VAC line down to 80 - 100 volts. Often a large electrical load being switched on will cause this for a short duration.

We used MOV varistors to protect against dangerous spikes http://electroschematics.com/5224/metal-oxide-varistor/

But for line spikes in critical situations we would use isolation transformers.

You can chain multiple AC line filters.

But if you can, do your modifications on the DC side of the equipment's power supply instead. Besides, from your previous threads, it seems that it is your DAC that isn't reliable to start with. Do you get the same problem with other products?

No, only with the BIII DAC and when shielded the R-Core transformers to chassis & shielded the Sabre ESS9018 with mumetal to the same AC gnd chassis point.

be careful with 230V AC mains.
Capacitor between Live and GND, max. value is 4.7nF, Y1 or Y2 rated caps.
Capacitor between Neutral and GND, max. value is 4.7nF, Y1 or Y2 rated caps.
Between Live and Neutral, caps should be X1 or X2 rated.
 
Are you sure? 2u2 at 50Hz 240V will inject 166mA into the earth conductor. Plenty enough to trip a 30mA ELCB, and possibly enough to kill someone if the earth conductor breaks. 1mA wll make you jump.

PS I am tempted to ask the mods to remove your mains filter circuit from post 13 on the grounds of safety, but I will give you the chance to justify it first.
