I have to tell you guys, though of course I cringe when I think of what these might sound like, I'm liking the idea more and more of something like this as an engineering kit. It would be a great way to introduce girls and boys to audio if they were like Lego's.

Here is a dipole speaker with 6 mids around the tweeter. It is a passive kit published in a Finnish audio magazine. Perhaps "dipole" isn't a good idea here.
