I bought a whole bunch of different SITs from Pras at a very reasonable price, and they all were the real deal. I bought a whole bunch of 2SJ618 or 2SK1303 from other (different) Chinese sellers - all fake. I bought a whole bunch of the ultra-rare NEC 2SJ44 / 2SK163 from yet another Chinese seller, and they were genuine alright. A lot of people here got scammed by the Chinese seller Polida... (The worst scammer that I personally encountered was in fact a Dutch company...)
Hence, saying that Pras sells fakes (without providing any evidence), or that Chinese sellers will sell the good stuff only to westerners are rather dubious claims, in my opinion.

I am from India. I bought a pair of SITs from Pras. Haven't tested them yet. But I have no reason to believe that they are fakes. Its a matched pair.
On the other hand, I had bought a lot of 2SK2013/2SJ313 pairs from UTSOURCE. All fake.
