you should build a tuned particle board or plywood enclosure for those drivers and then mount that inside the hutch.

That would not work at all. Whatever is in those drawers and the drawers themselves would rattle so bad you would have wished it was never built.
Update: I have spent most of the time related to this project staring at it and drinking coffee. The buffet is now gutted from the back and the drawer faces are loose and will have to be re-fastened. I bought a large piece of plastic sign board to make a stencil for the baffle and iso tunnel.
The woofers are broken-in. I had them out of phase to cancel as much as possible but a weak solder joint in my signal generator gave way and broke under the seismic shakes. That's been trouble-shooted and fixed.
Those glass doors are going to want to rattle.
