With the black probe on the ground terminal of the amp (inside the amp), what's the DC voltage on pin 7 of the 494?
ok i figured out why i wasent getting ground but now when u hook power and ground to the amp no remote the amp draws 60+ amp
you have to hook 3 power wires and 3 ground wires to this amp in order to turn it on not just one
im 100% sure i didbnt have the pos and neg reversed all fets test good
wondering what will disable the output side to i can see if the amp will power up

Pulling the rectifiers will isolate the audio section but that's not likely going to accomplish anything because it's doing it with no remote voltage applied.
What's the DC resistance across the B+ and ground terminals (disconnect the 12v power supply from the amp before measuring the resistance)?

Ok Perry i found the problem there was a solder bridge from the pos to ground ill check the voltages on the 494 and post again in 2 mins

Pin 16 is causing pin 3 to go high which is shutting down the supply. Is there an op-amp near the 494?
Post the voltages on that IC.
