Yeah, I suspect best left there too. 😉 I can't say I'm convinced it's worth it (or by the volume division for that matter), but interesting in the abstract.
I have heard these speakers, that they sound fantastic is an under statement. Amazing what that 4 inch speaker can do in that box. Ben's write up is spot on, that contour filter is necessary.

that's interesting - might the 2-1-1 ratio of chambers with all equal ports be something rather universal ?
not sure what the cascaded extension of the DBR can do
