I do not hope he abused his position, being a purchaser
I've been fueled by the same thoughts. I'd hate to compound his problems.
GP, and all purchases contain a small amount of risk that products are not delivered. Anthony has recieved $150 from me and it is very unfortunate I (we) still haven't heard anything.
This mild reaction may cause some frowning and is in no cause because I have some kind of 'moneytree' in my backyard, on the contrary I just bought my first home.
I also have send an email to anthony and haven't had a reaction, I am now considering the money lost and will be happily surprised if I will ever recieve the goods

Well Bartek, 5G's isnt worth to "diy" for is it?? For some it might be....... I prefer to think that he is in a hospital or something....I've been fueled by the same thoughts. I'd hate to compound his problems.
What a thing to hope for

Oh, I know...sigh. What a crappy situation.
By saying that I'd hate to compound his problems I don't mean that we should just lay down on our backs...it is a substantial figure...it would just be a shame (if that is the case).
Only if he just said so, I would understand and be passion. But this silense....

Excactly right! I will try to contact Anthony through "LinkedIn". He might be possible to reach through that! He did emphasise on that community! What a crappy situation.
Steen.
Edit: Just had a try at "LinkedIn", it doesnt seem like Anthony Taggs does excist there!!!! I wonder......
This one has been very difficult for me to understand. Anthony to me has always been someone I looked up to and still want to. I believe the 'kits' have been purchased and are just sitting there, somewhere, waiting. His posts have shown that, I don't believe he lied, I don't think it is in him. His history here is amazing and valued.
That being said he has got to answer these posts, or have a friend intervene for him/and or distribute.
There is nothing still that can't be fixed but you've got to surface and come forth and get this off your back.

Bad news.🙁 Paypal only accepts claims that are made within 45 days of payment. I just filed a claim and at the end it tells you that your complaint has been recorded, but there will be no action. Dead end. Maybe we can use it to get an address though.
I was just thinking that at this point this is a federal fraud situation. I don't like this one bit, but I don't like being screwed either.

You are so right! But at this point, I guess you have to face the factsThere is nothing still that can't be fixed

DaveM,
I talked to the Paypal agent, he mentioned that if enough of us complaint. Then action will be taken more serious even if it is past the 45 days.
On a second note:
Coulomb did purchase 500 of the Aavid Heatsinks from me. That is one thing I know he purchase for the Parts GP, what he did w/the heatsinks, I don't know.

Well, I am 99.9% sure he has all the parts, including the fancy trafos. Kitting does take quite a lot of time, so if he has something going on (sickness, etc), well, I know it would fall off my plate. But a simple post or email to someone would not.
He did mention here that he was takig a break for "personal reasons."

Yes, but that post was after taking a break. He said he was going to be sending out shipping invoices in it as well.
I am trying to be on the positive side of things, but it is hard after so long. A project sitting on the bench with no parts to populate has a 0% chance of getting done. All I really want is the parts I paid for.

Yeah, I totally understand. So, here's the weird part for me: Russ and I are gonna produce an x-bosoz board and kit very soon, so I will be building and distributing kits while still waiting for one.
So, my best guess is as soon as I am ready to ship, my kit and boards will arrive. Karma?

Could an address be provided so all who want to may post their accounts due? I'm asking for one contact or reference number with Paypal.
Well I made a complaint and there was no reaction.
I also made the transaction more than 45 days ago.

What if we start a petition on a WIKI page? We could craft a complant paragraph, and everyone in the parts GB signs it with their email address used to pay Anthony using PayPal.
Maybe a group complant would put pressure on PayPal to act. The district attorney where he lives might put some pressure on him as well.
Any thoughts?

I spoke to Paypal as well
To answer my own question, the seller's account address is the needed link. When you file a complaint with Paypal, and enough complaints have been recieved, Paypal will freeze that account. There are other avenues. Paypal will send you an e-mail containing:

I really do not know what is with Colomb. Sadly I will be really disapointed if he doesn't come up clean, since I always had a great pleasure dealing with him.
I am maybe hardest hit since I have roughly $425 with him of undelivered goods.
A few weeks ago Jleaman treatned with posting Colomb's phone number, but we all agreed that he will make phone call before any action is taken.
JLeaman - are there any news regarding this. Have you had a chance to leave message or to speak with Colomb? I really would like to know outcome of this before we do anything else. I tend to hope that Colomb will have some great explanation and plan for delivery of kits. At that time I offered to write an email to Colomb as well, which I did, but with no answer.
I think that this is a serious matter, that could and should influence how we do future group buys.

I have Anthony's address from long ago, from when I trades some parts with him.
Since Russ and I are going to be doing a board and kit based on the same (well, very similar) design, and Anthony has about $150 from me as well, and I'm all geared up here for kit shipping, I am going to try to contact him and see if we can work something out where he sends me a box with all the parts and I can distribute them. I will send him a snail-mail letter, hoping maybe that will reach him.
Keep persuing whatever you see fit, and I will try this. Hopefully someone gets some results.
