Hi Kari!

I am finaly getting around on building the preamp.
I wanted to ask you which caps did you use for the Power supply?
the small blue ones.

on the power supply board there are caps across the diodes, then parallel to the big caps and that the output.
They all are blue and look like they are from the same brand.
Are they mkp or mkt?

If i remeber correctly i used mkp. Alltho i think this really does not matter if they are mkt or mkp.

I bet they are Rifa polypropylene's. The best you can use for diodesnuppers are Rifa PHE450's, they are very robust critters. (Alternatively, X2 rated caps are also very good and robust)
For bypassing the electrolytics, the best are (soundwise) the PHE426's. Both can be had from ELFA.
