A simple fix is possible by adjusting the RC network in the driver cathode.

All versions of the P12 have response that starts dropping at 5khz and are 20+ DB down by 10khz.

"Extended" means a bump at 5kHz-6kHz, which is "high" for a Twelve.
NOT "full-range" without a tweeter.
Put any decent 2-way speaker on that amp. 15KHz is plenty for cymbal, and my one experiment with 125ESE did not show a real droop at 15KHz.
