Thanks again for the effort Mark...the search continues...I'm really sorry that andy_c no longer participates in the forum, he was always the first to respond to requests like this.
I suppose one possibility might be to (A) find someone who is a dues-paying member of the Audio Engineering Society; and then (B) offer to pay them X percent of the annual membership dues, in exchange for downloading this paper from the AES archives.

Thanks Jan...I figured that out from the patent myself. What interests me more is whether there is something in the article that is not stated in the patent how this additional circuit really works.
I'll see what I can do, stay tuned. Please let me know if you get the article elsewhere.
