Ok, here's one from the same time period:
I have this record too.....Google or Youtube "Cruise to the edge" for some videos. That and "Moody Blues Cruise" seems to be the new fad in reviving old rock bands, and the failing cruise industry.
vinylkid58's selection is Fragile by Yes.
Anyone know this one? I have the original vinyl from the mid 70's, but I snatched this picture from Amazon since I am at work right now. At home I have about 600 vinyl records to choose from dating back to 1965, but a lot of my real old ones were stolen in the mid 70's.

One of my faves...
Three of them were on the Moody Blues Cruise playing an all acoustic set. There are videos on Youtube.
Guess I'll have to dig a bit deeper into my record collection next time, but I think we have similar record collections.
..., but I think we have similar record collections.
To be sure 🙂
I didn't think that this one was that obscure...

I didn't either since Sad Young Man actually got radio play back when. I picked that one since I played it last week after watching the videos.
It was a bit more obscure than Fragile though.
I am at a distinct disadvantage here. Either my brother or I recorded his albums on cassette for me to use so there a chance I would have listened to the album for many years but never saw the cover. Take Fragile for example. I had no idea what the cover looked like.
Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
Let's have a little fun with this one. The cover would have been appreciated by any teenage boy almost 50 years ago and arguably the bands top selling album and a pop cover icon, one of the most parodied ever. Probably too many clues but here it is, strategically cropped for your guessing pleasure.

Some of us are old enough to have purchased this record when it came out (1965), and I still have it.
I showed my dad the cropped picture- I did not recognize it and I wanted to see if he knew. He just said "gotta love whipped cream." I figured it out after that. 🙄
I'm reluctant to post the answer since I had some outside help

Wow, I'm certainly having fun with this. Both tubelab and dumbledog I'm sure have guessed it. I was around 5 back then. More clues (?) - two of the songs were featured on "The Dating Game"; the model was 3 months pregnant when the photo was taken.

Uh, I was a teenage boy.....barely. My father strangely approved of this record. It's mostly instrumental. He did not approve of any my other music, Beatles, Stones, Dave Clark 5....
