Hey Brian quick question,

I can easily use your boards to make a parrellal GC right? Just use 0.1% components and connect the outputs from two boards into one driver, right?

Thanks

This should work, but you should put a low value resistor in series with the output, such as a 0.22ohm 3w, before connecting the two channels together.

Any status updates? 😀

I don't mean to be anxious 😉

The pcbs are shipping to me Friday, and I should have them on Monday or Tuesday. As soon as they arrive, I will ship the ones for the international order up to Peter, along with all the parts, then begin shipping all the US orders out. Peter will ship all the International orders out as soon as he gets the parts.

Hi Brian, I just ordered the Premium kit and I have all else needed to complete the build except the transformer.

Would you mind taking a moment to post the transformer requirements or perhaps a specific transformer I should order?

Thanks.

I am using a 320VA 2x24vac transformer in mine, and some others are using 400va 2x22vac. Something around this range should suffice.

The boards came in today, and I will post a couple of pictures tonight. I am really satisified with how the new layout came out.

The digikey order got delayed a couple of days by my credit card company questioning a large charge, but should be here in a couple more days. I have enough parts left over from last time to cover a significant amount of orders.

I am still accepting orders:

Pictures of new boards

Here are some pictures of the new boards.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Complete pcb, now with 2 rectifier pcbs for cheaper monoblocks.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

New ways to connect pcbs for monoblocks - keeping 2 boards together, or piggybacking them.

Back of pcb

Note: the pcb is scored, and easily breaks apart into 4 pieces.

I will spend the evening getting kits ready to ship out tomorrow.

Cheers,
