Today I have sent out Paypal money requests to all on the wiki list. You can still sign up for more.
My 3 boards dropped through the letterbox yesterday. They are excellent quality and I'm very pleased with them. Will be buying the necessary parts from RS tomorrow in order to build them.
Apologies, beginner here! Happy New Year. I have the boards, need to buy components, BOM is a list of components? Is this on this thread?Any tips for boxes/housing. Cheers!
The main bits you need are:
16x P600J-E3/54 Diodes
6x EPCOS 68000uF 16v snap in
4x Wago 256-402 Terminal Strip
4x M4 standoffs for mounting the PCB
As for a box, that is more likely a personal choice. I went with a moderately big 240x160x90mm sized polycarb box as I'm fitting a few outlets, a fuse and power switch. I may also add an EMI filter to it aswell.

The sockets are Neutrik powercon. I have a 12 way mains distribution unit that I use for my hifi which has all powercon outlets, so all my hifi is already wired up with the necessary plugs.
The blue is power in and the grey are outlets.
Finished fitting the diodes this evening. Just the box wiring left to do now.

Those large tracks absorb a heck of a lot of heat and are take a while to solder even with a 70W iron.

Everyone should have got an email from me about this. Check your junkman folder in case it ended up there.Apologies, beginner here! Happy New Year. I have the boards, need to buy components, BOM is a list of components? Is this on this thread?Any tips for boxes/housing. Cheers!
If you look at the schematics you see that the holes were designed for M3 screws. Lower right side of the schematics.Just noticed whilst sorting out the holes today that the standoffs actually seem to be M3.5 rather than M4.
I've now built the box for mine. I simply need to wire it up and solder in the diodes.

I can't see anything in my junk, or normal inbox. What should we look out for in there?

I can't find anything either. Received my boards today.

Anyway I don't need it. Phase fault on my system was because I moved my speakers.
Glad to hear that they finally turned up. I notice very long delivery times for letters these days.
Hi PA. I ordered some boards from your webshop. For the diodes, I have 10A10 1kV diodes on hand. Can I use these or are 6A required? And for caps, is the uF the most important factor or is high ripple current most desired? Thanks!
The diodes are OK. The ripple current is determined by the forward voltage of the diodes but I would say that any snap-in capacitor will work as long as the capacitance is high enough.
