I like your bench Murray. Got to visit some day.
Mine is an unholy mess. I'm still moving things around. There's an RTX 6001 hiding on the bench on the right side just right of the Marantz int. amp. (1180DC). Also, that is really a Radiometer Copenhagen SMG1. Almost the oldest instrument I use.

green with envy!
Beautiful labs! Another level.
My workshop has multi-meter, soldering iron, isolation transformer and a toaster oven.😕
Look forward to meeting all fellow GTA DIY'ers.

Looking forward to meeting all the fine folks I've argued with* at DIYaudio over the years. Although it might be a struggle for me to be civil to just a guy, but I will be a better person for the effort.
What we really need is to borrow Stan Lifshitz' ABX box. Really, really.
And doughnuts.

There will be an Oppo player for CD, DVD audio, and blue ray discs, also it reads USB drives. The Oppo feeds an outboard dac ( or your dac ).
Bring your favorite demo tracks, there some classic rock HD track alblums on hand.
I think there won’t be enough time to evaluate tuners and or turntables this meeting.

Listed the meet on Canuck Audio mart yesterday and have 5 requests already for directions so it looks like it will be well attended.

Hi ticknpop,
Can you list those details here as well please? I find Canuck Audio more difficult to find things on.

It is going to be a carnival!!😛😛
Looking forward to meet everyone.
Regards,
me too, can't wait to discuss our mutual interests. Nice labs guys, thx for posting.Still interested in tuners, tubes and test equipment here.
I put it in the DIY section, maybe ( didn’t see it) theres a section for meetings,
shows etc. First posting ended up in the turntable section so I reposted. Six inquires for the meeting in just over half a day so they found it.

we can’t cover everything in one meeting, but it gets people introduced and gets DIY meetings off the ground then there can always be more.

Would it be OK if I PM you via this forum for venue details?
Regards,
The posting on Canuck Audio mart has had 16 requests for the meeting directions in the day and a half since it was poasted, so it looks like it will be well attended.

Anything I can bring? eats, drinks, scopes, beer? event? I assume you have a way to heat me up some city water for tea, maybe best to nuke it 🙂 I'll bring my tea, soya, honey, mug, I am a fussy old fart.
Theres a very small kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, new kettle, coffee grinder and brewing pot.
There’s 20 varities of tea. 3 or 4 coffees, fresh miik, sugar, brown sugar, and honey.
There will be cookies, samosas, doughnuts, and asian dry noodle soup bowls
There’s disposable cups, glasses, and plates. Beer in the fridge.
There’s 10 or 12 chairs.
