Are you planning on using the 2sk1058/2sj168 pair?😱
IMHO that is not a good idea.
The 2sj168 is really not very good.
Use Alfet 08N16/08P16 or BUZ900 types or the more common EXICON EXC10N20/10P20.
They are all much close clones to the original Hitachi pair 2SK135/2SJ50

Agree, I mentioned my AB test in this thread before, that 2SK1058 is not comparable to Exicons.

Try to use BUZ900, or Hitachi 2SK134/135, though EOL. But you can still get new and good Exicons from Profusion in UK.

Huge difference will be noticed. The 2SK1058 has weak and tough bass, the highs is not as clear as Exicons.

When listening to 2SK135/Exicon, the bass is punchy and vivid, the high is warm and charming, soft.

I built a Goldmunduino, a test platform of Golmunds.
There are interchangeable input module, capacitor test slot.
The Nichicon MUSES BP and Elna Cerafine, Silmic II are good as feedback capacitor.

Yes. Modern Goldmund models use Exicons parts, even their headphone amplifier, Goldmund uses Excion's Lateral MOSFET as the HPA's power stage transistor without heatsinking.

They were measured according to this scheme.
This is what the measurements on Tracer Curve look like.
