I have already spent 6 month.
I live near Akihabara so I can gather parts easily but I buy slowly for money.
Last month I orderd alminium cutting to small company and made walnut flame.
I also spending long time to reading, understanding schematics but really slow...

I am happy to share my project.
I will make another thread for my progress but I join to post some Japanese schematics here. Please forgive my luck of knowridge/understanding for tube amps and english.
This one is another version of 300Bse amp using EC86/6CM4 instead of EC88/6DL4. 2dB NFB,Designed enough simple for newbie.
Last picture is improvement plan for cross talk.

Both are nice schematic. Clean build! You are lucky to live near Akihabara! One day I will visit there and Restaurant Concorde.
6DW4 great rectifier and still plentiful here in USA. 2µf coupling capacitor??? A bit large; to play whale notes? 🙂
Keep up the good work!

The finals' heater chain isn't isolated from mains and a tube's heater-cathode isolation mustn't be regarded as safe enough.
Best regards!
Best regards!
Ah, that it! I don't have a tube spec of this type but I guess that the isolation between cathode and heater can be an issue.
Thanks Kay.
Thanks Kay.
If built, it needs an isolation between wall and filaments. A heater winding for them should be used.
Take 100 V from primary is strange no doubt....
other voltages are low ~50 V and 21 V if compare with many high B+in amplifiers , this OTL is on the less dangerous side.
Thanks Diyers and please tube amateurs remember :
Always safety first

100v is Japanese standard voltage, as is no ground. the nation is
divided into 50/60hz.
It's curious.
