GB: SDTrans384 - A micro SD card digital transport

Sorry for getting back late Acid...was trying to find the manual. 😅

What you have is the sdtrans384 that's equipped with a daughter board, designed for i2C communication via hdmi to sync the 9018 sync dac.

I believe there are some pins on the board that needed to be enabled/disabled to toggle the config mode back for sdtrans384 to be used as a standalone i2s streamer.

I will continue to look for the manual (or perhaps I saw that description somewhere else). Will update should I be able to locate it.. in the meantime.. please look into this direction. Yamazaki san should be able to help you in details for sure, via sichoya <at> yahoo <dot> co.jp .

Best wishes on getting it working right soon. 😀

CFT, thank You. I already have the manual both or the SDTRANS384 and that daughterboard SDTRANS-SYNC-SDT. I resoldered the jumpers back as they should be for standard edition. I got it playing, just at the half speed. and what is missing just standard ROM, so I think that is why I got half speed play.

Got negative answer from Mr Yamazaki. Seems best bet will be to wait for the previous owner to return from holidays and try to find that ROM (if it exists at all). If that will fail, only way would be to make a copy from existing ROM.
