GB Group Buy Salas UltraFSP RIAA

Me either. This is my priciest cartridge as well.
I looked heavily at Hana, but 750.00 model lacked cantilever material and fine line stylus of the AT. Next up was 1200 to get those features with Hana.

I am happy as claim with this one!

Next step to expect some appreciable improvement is DYNAVECTOR XX-2A I guess.
This one keep me busy for a bit, I do still look at 1200.00 Hana. Someone, Salas? I was discussing these cartridges with suggested it (1200.00 model) over the 750.00 model, as less expensive model characteristics were more difficult to match to tone arm? Didn't follow all of it and may have misunderstood, at that point I had sold self on AT.

The $1200 ML model with its aluminum cantilever and other carefully blended elements is more of an "artisan" cartridge than the neutral PTG/2. Mainly tonally pleasant with more records. But you are not firmly on a higher tier yet.
Maybe better save money to really jump category sometime. Something $2k+ Dyna or Hana or ZYX. The Hana Umami Blue is an ML engine progress.
Many vinyl rigs simply don't justify better carts than an AT33EV though. At least the UFSP won't be a bottleneck as you go up the carts ladder. @vgeorge for instance enjoys an Umami Red ($4k) on his Technics SP-10 MKII through UFSP for many months now and he keeps telling me that he never regretted it.

Yes. My UFSP is just wonderful. Definitely not a bottle neck

I am definitely looking at SP 10. Recently in fact, just not quite ready to jump. Current tables are Merrill Modded AR units. One is really put together from spare parts from other table. The other one has the full house of George Merrill mods, having recently acquired the digital speed control and motor. Waiting for one inch bit to be delivered to accomplish that!

These tables are not latest technology by a shot,b ut do sound better than one would expect. I've had one of these tables since early 90s.

Speaking of George Merrill, I've also looked at his Poly Tables, very nice modern look.

I guess, as with the UFSP, so with the SP 10. Everyone that gets one is just "done" this is it with turntables. I haven't heard a single person say that they didn't get it or like it. That said, I have never listened to one! I will find one eventually. All these people can't be wrong..

Hi again, Tea, hope things are well , please disregard my above post , I took a deep dive in my older FSP parts kit and found some matched 2SK369bl’s that I can use for the UFSP. So no need for the 2SK’s .
Thanks
