Put up a GB for all the recommended passives - if anyone need something out from these specs they are on their self. A GB can buy the stuff in the thousands - I won't...
So, this will take some time I guess. But then again I'm quite willing to pay 25 or more % than street price.

Hi Mike
Did not charge enough?
Sorry to hear it
I've organised smaller GB's and ended up being out of pocket.🙁
So
I’d be happy to chip in some more cash if that helps as it seems a little unfair to do all of the work and then come up short on the cash.🙂
Let me know the short fall for my parts GB and I’ll send you some cash.😎
So why dont ask for 5 dollars more from each off us ?
No way,
This GB did not lose money, but on some things, My estimates for shipping of parts was bad.
Also shortage of some parts means higher costs. The GB got bigger than I guessed it would.
So for heatsinks, low cost, but heavy weight - maybe doesnt make sense to ship across the world, unless there is a shortage of them in some countries for availability.
I am trying to make things affordable as possible. But really this is a shipping problem, the postal service changes a lot more than they used to ship parts since I started playing in this sandbox in 2009.
Thanks for your concern. 🙂🙂

So TB, a chance to gain what you lost... Full kits of resistors and caps exept C3/C4. 25% at least gain...

If you guys want bigger resistor kits, I can do that.
I can even get the TX2575's in there as well.
The thing is, you guys have to decide what it might be.
For a few of these things, 0.1% tolerance I would assume standard.
CMF55's are the obvious choice, but PRP can do 0.1%'s as well (custom).
Why I left them out is because I think taste vary quite a bit.
And a lot of these resistors now are not cheap at all. At least the audio or higher tolerance ones. I think PRP wanted like $2 dollars cost to sell for 0.1% 25ppm for an order of 50-100 pieces. But they could probably do the 6.79K resistor for less than naked foils.
Go ahead and send your ideas about. Make a wish list.
It's easier now to do optional things in GB because the invoice system kept me from making as many mistakes in assumptions on what people really wanted then before.

I'm quite happy with Salas BOM but if you exceed this - good for us. After that it's up to me to change whatever on the market. So, a whole kit including minikit exept boxes and transformers. A medium kit as I am after - all electronics exept minikit, transformers and connectors and lastly the minikit to those finding sourcing worthwhile.
3 options, put 25% on the price and you will sell.

Hi Tea-Bag,
Could you please put me on the waiting list for the next GB.
While I haven't completed any audio hobby work in quite a while, I still listen to my Simplistic prototype daily. 'Bout time I caught up with the latest version.
Thanks,
Tani.

Many thanks Mike. I 've got the boards/kit. My build is finished on the other thread with Salas help. Many thanks once again guys.

What version you got Tani? The 11.02.F0 PDF one?
Hi Salas,
I've got the version in the older PDF and my efforts can be seen here.
I haven't made any changes to the original other than adding some sinks as required. It's still unboxed, just tucked away under the shelf doing it's thing. I'm hoping to have more time soon (we opened a cafe a while back and we're more able to part from it now than we have been) so I'm getting keen to start projects.
Regards,
Tani.
Hiho
Found this gb, while searching the web for diy-pres.
Will give it a try, pin me on the list please! ;-)

Would there be interest in this from the community?

Now I remember that one yes. Was it on daily duty at the cafe? Did you play records there too?
No, not at the cafe. I really wanted to play LPs at the beginning, but it's too much to worry about when we are busy. I wouldn't be happy asking staff to handle records in amongst their regular duties either.
The Simplistic lives at home awaiting a worthy turntable, power amp and speakers. I had a MyREF Rev C based amp, but the chassis and transformer were needed for a commercial project (another cafe actually, 8 channel system).
I'll get there some day 🙄

Hiya TB,
I'd like in on the wait list also, please.
Thanks!

Both also now on waiting list.
Hi Tea Bag;
In case my post (#333) was vague; I too would like to be added to the list. Boards and parts (without heatsinks) for a stereo pair if possible.
Thanks
Matt

Any plans how many sites the list will´ve? - End jan. / early febr. 2014!? :-D
Just found this thread. I bought the Collins phono pre kit (matvhed pair and circular PCB) a few years ago, but haven't built it. Is this design as good or better?
