GB for EU: 8 pieces matched Toshiba 2sk170 BL grade Jfet’s

Almost done 🙂

Hey @ all,

i was a bit distracted due to my job and also had to fit a new kitchen into our new home. But today i had a day off and finished sorting and packing all the Jfets. I also created shipping labels for every shipment, i just have to print it tomorrow at work.

One of the main reason why sorting the fets took so long is that i measured every octet again after sorting them together. I did that to ensure, that they really measure tight enough under the same temperature conditions.

You will receive the fets sorted to pairs with the best "curve matching". In fact they are only matched to two points: Vp and Idss @ 8,7V Vds. But you can predict the curve pretty well from those two values and thats why i sorted them to 4 pairs per octet. Most pairs match better then +/- 0,1mA Idss while the whole octet will typically match around +/- 0,2mA Idss.

I will post all the stuff tomorrow or friday. I will send you tracking numbers as soon as everything is on its way.
Sorry for all the waiting time.. I hope you will still enjoy your transistors. If anyone has any complaints, please contact me, we will sort it out.

Thank you for making this group buy possible and for your patience.

Update: If you want to track your shipment, I suggest to use parcelsapp.com . Just enter your tracking number and hit search. This site will track everything that has a tracking number.

All of the US shipments should have left customs already and should be on the way via USPS.

Some of you where asking if there are spare quads or octets. Unfortunately I only had two good quads left and they are now gone. I only have a hand full of hardly matched pairs that I need to use for my projects.

I also did not manage to get a nice octet for myself in the end, that's why I will start a bigger GB soon..

AddiDub:

Man, that was fast! You posted what, five days ago? From Frankfurt to my home outside Philadelphia in less than a week. The jfets look great -- can't wait to hear them (so many projects under consideration)!

Thank you,
Scott
