The HP supply is use a 8.x V zener as voltage reference, I series a TL431 to 11V,So output is 41V.
And I use 15ohm resistor to test the output current. The supply not protect.

You can use this box. My PCB is designed according to this box.Heat sink use 5cmX5cm angle aluminum.

Hi i received the unit, and learning to use it. Iwill try to update the other thread with my thoughts and suggestions in couple of days. Thanks Fred for your efforts to organize this GB as it provided an invaluable help to this group as well as Locky_z.

One thought on this GB. If Locky_z can add the heatsink insulator/washer/fastener parts, it would simplyfy the quick setup. I had to look around as they are nit easily available in any store like radioshack. Or theGB group has to procure 8 sets before receiving the kit. Just my 2cents
