Hello All,

Today I went to the post office.

- For the bad surprise part, I will have to fill out all the forms by hand (Ouch!)
- For the Good surprise, shipment delay is ~3-4 days to most destinations

I can confirm you that I will definitely need your phone numbers. I think this is because the final delivery will be handled by TNT in all countries where EMS is not present, and they will contact you for the delivery.

Unless you tell me otherwise, I will fill the customs declaration as follows:

Description: Curve Tracer - Measurement device
Weight: the real weight..
Value: The real value in USD = ~87 USD
Origin: China

I will also tick "abandoned" in case the shipment is undeliverable (sorry but I don't want to pay for back shipment, re-imports duties at something like 50%, VAT at 17% and handling fee at 5% of the value...)

Consequently, please consider the importance of giving me accurate contact information

As I told you, I definitely need your Phone number for the EMS form.

Here is the status of my follow up table.
It's possible that I did miss some information that you already provided.. with 35 people and the info sometimes scattered in different PMs, please forgive me and send me again!

Payment option means IBAN (Bank transfer) or Paypal. By default, this will be Paypal for all non-Eurozone members, so no need to confirm to me.

I have not yet received any boards, but Locky_Z has already sent the 3 he had in stock, and started building more.
The pace is 4-5 per week. I will start to contact you little by little for payment once your board is ready.

I'll assume the comment about saving space in your mailbox is a joke........... (otherwise no comment... I can teach you how to use the "delete" button)

ALL MY APOLOGIES IF I AM ASKING YOU TO SEND AGAIN SOMETHING THAT YOU ALREADY DID.

Please understand I'm not planning to spend my entire life doing this Group Buy. I have 35 people sending me PMs with for more than 50% of the time partial information and that I have to record in a file one by one, request missing info, etc.. sometimes with 3 or 4 loops. I do make mistakes or forget recording from time to time, sorry.

As I commented in the first post: you're free to save yourself mailbox space, possibly a few euros, and a lot of my time by purchasing the unit yourself on Taobao.

No, my comment concerning space in my mail box isn't a joke for two reasons.

- I am currently involved in group buys related to EUVL's F5X during which I collect many addresses. I want to keep the original mails until I have sent out all the packages.

- When I buy something over the forum, I generally want to keep all correspondence until I receive the item.

Ready for Shipment !

Hello All,

A little news from the Group Buy...

I have received the first 3 units from Locky_Z this week end and I am now fully equipped for the preparation of the shipment. Other units will follow shortly...

I will use a good quality 5-layer cardbox + bubble wrap (I made several tests of different box sizes / box in a box, etc.. and this is the best compromise I found that keeps the weight below the 500g limit... (above 500g, shipment price would increase 10 euros more..)

Update 22nd February

Hi All,

I am receiving your curve tracers little by little. First batch this weekend, and the remaining will arrive tomorrow.

I have sent payment instructions to the first lucky 8 !

Shipment of those units will be made early next week.

For the remaining, Locky_Z is busy building some more units for them... I will be on business trip next week, so shipment will restart the following week or weekend.

In the meantime, here is the latest status
