difference about 25 mA
transformer Is EI 150 VA
That's a very common difference range in circa 200mA per rail DCB1 builds without trimmed resistors to equalize rails exactly, and I don't remember any reference to a buzzing power transformer. Do you have any other transformer in hand to try out?
well
I use It with 24 V reg rails at about 160 mA
I am lazy to try to equal rail currents

Confused about boards
I am confused about the boards available. As I understand it, the "Hot Rod" versions run with higher current and require cooling. I would expect the boards to be the same, but the GB signup sheet only has two options: Hot Rod Hypnotize and (Regular) Mezmerize.
I was thinking I wanted a Hot Rod Mez, but I just missed the last GB. Could someone please straighten me out?

There was no hot rod friendlier mez ever. All can run high current, its only the blue hypno had easier facilities for that.
Has anyone, besides myself, swapped out the 220R signal resistors from any brand to TX2575s?
I am hoping to collect some feedback for Texas Instruments.

We are up to 30 units of GB for Hot-Rod hypnotize.
Isn't looking good for the mesmerize, but keep posting interest in this.
I will keep the GB open I think until the end of January.

I think dvb-projekt. Maybe you can ask him.
Okay, an update for new Group buy groupies.
I plan on closing the current group buy on January 30th 2011.
We have the numbers now to support The hypnotize at regular $15usd price.
Because of some lost orders, I will probably also be buying a few Mesmerize Blues as well. The cost on these may rise a bit. We will see. The likely first payments will be allowed the week of the 17th. More information will follow in the spreadsheet.

Earlier today I set a Round 3 deadline for expression of interest in relays and led sets as next Sunday, January 9.
I will continue to have leds. I may choose to offer an alternate to the Omron relay. It will depend on the level of interest.

I've added 2 hotties to the Excel-sheet. I hope just saving it is enough.
BTW: I listened this WE to my system comparing sound with and without the hypnotise (cold version). Especially in the lows the difference is huge. Without the buffer, bass is there, but the frequencies are wobbling together. With the buffer, every single frequency can be heard. Mainly in string instruments this makes a huge difference, string movement is nearly visible with the buffer.
I'm now moving from a standard pot to a Sylonex-pot. Something to compare in detail in the next WEs. I'm using Hypex as power-amp.

Thanks for the feedback. This GB board run has your T mod for shorting to ground, no contact in signal path relay layout embedded.
GB for hypno hot-rod is almost at 50 units.
Hope to close at 100 units of these before its done. Want to get a bigger donation to this site.
The Mesmerize I will order some regardless, minimum 25 units.
GB's going to close Jan 30th.
