Hi all there is an update on the build of the cases, as stated before, the F5X is first out of the gate then F5XP, since the F5X machining is just about done, we are starting F5XP while waiting for the anodizing shop to reopen due to pandemic.

The amp cases are done in terms of machining and assembly testing now we wait for anodizer and shipping and next update here will be of Preamp case .

F5XP cases are being machined and should go to anodizing soon.

As far as I know, they are being produced right now.
They will make one set of sample cases first just to be sure of no mistakes.
A beta tester will try that out with PCB fitting, etc.
Then they will go into batch production.
We have not forgotten.
As you said, Covid did not make things easier.

Any updates on how the beta test case turned out? I'm guessing the batch production is still on hold due to the pandemic?

Hi Paul,
On holiday but still connected, cases are more than 50% done , last batch has already started machining.
First half has been test assembled to check for any issues and should be on its way in afew weeks, needs anodizing that is all.
I will contact subscribers here so that those that need to pay second instalment can do so as soon as we have them packed and ready to ship.
The pandemic has indeed delayed thigs but we are hoping to pick up speed now that things are getting back to some semblance of normalcy here.

Some more news, shipping is drawing near.
We had some consistency issues with the new anodizer but that has been solved after reanodizing.
Now all items are being reanodized and the finish is consistent across the whole batch.
So i expect to contact all subscribers soon for shipping as soon as we have the panels in the shop for assembly.
The cases will all be sent fully assembled.
