Guys,
I will send all of you the thread adapters for the front so you can screw down your protection PCB.
But come on..we want to see more F5Xs singing...Morde has his singing for ages....
Almost there, too busy with this thing called work
Gentlemen,
I'm tempted to go with c) since I don't have the ability to do much machining work.
But am I correct that sending the standoffs and the mounting plate back for machining
would also be a reasonable solution?
No Problem Dennis, just send them to me and i will fix them and send back to you.
Carlos.
Hi Patrick
any news?
thanks
Markus
Before you order parts, we are testing some new rectifier diodes instead of MSR1560.
So save those first. Will explain when we have results.

Waiting for Morde to test. He already has new PCBs for that.
The diodes under test are 3-pin TO220.
It has a lower forward voltage, which reduces dissipation in the regulator heatink.
You should then run the regulator as pure cap multiplier (without the Zener).
The amp will see a fraction of a volt more rail voltage.
So no issue.
If you want to try in parallel, contact Morde for PCBs and details.
