Looks great Gary!
A big batch of shipments just got dropped at the post office. Look for orange padded envelopes coming your way soon.

Seems like some more packages are finding their way to their new homes. I'm looking forward to pix and hearing how your amps sound!
The final 4 packages are on my dining room table. Paypal invoices have been send.

I've received and paid an import duty invoice, so any day now....
It's so long since I've wound a coil that whether I have suitable ferrite rings and wire remains to be seen. And the whole lot are back in the UK. So, very grateful for the work on this, but don't hold your breath.

Received the boards from Gary, the Australian supplier😉
Super service all round, from sharing the original file to having them sent so quickly locally once they were made.

I somehow contrived to miss this GB but could use a couple of pairs.
If it's acceptable to be sent the gerber files I am happy to get a small batch of PCBs fabricated and share them with UK members at cost.
Cheers

I’d be interested in an “A” if there’s one available here.
How would this work for lower power draw SMPS supplies? Something like the B1?

There are a couple of options... I have a few extra PCB's. If you're interested in those send me a private message. I will send an instruction sheet and the required part numbers for you to order.
OR I could start another group buy if you don't mind waiting until a list of interested builds up. I would want to keep the GB open for appx. 1 month.

The boards for the dual smps ACA arrived today and I was blown away by the quality and care this package showed. Got all built in an hour or so, with the install in the bottom of the board, and checked all carefully. Then I played a new 12" 45rpm vinyl by Alice Kooper, "Detroit Stories."
WOW!
Sounds great. This particular build has gotten a bit too "busy" inside -- see the attached. But it works fine and when the amp is placed on spring risers, only heats up to the mid-50s. This will suit the mosfets just fine.
Have been spending most of my time correcting my mistakes with a pair of M2Xs just finished and have gotten the Class A and Tucson daughterboards up and running. They sound great as well, but different as you would expect. HOWEVER, in no way is the dual-smps ACA less pleasant -- might even decide it is my favorite. Will be comparing it to my other non-filtered dual-smps ACA in the next week and will report the differences.
And Mr. Thatcher should be recognized for his exceptional effort. Charge twice as much the next time, Randall. Even then it would be a bargain. Thank you.
