I'm starting to pack up PCB only orders to get accurate weights and send paypal invoices. I was SHOCKED at the price for shipping prices to Australia, and then I found out US Postal Service has suspended service to Oz. 3 options:
1. Pay way too much in shipping ($66USD to ship 2 small PCB's, I shudder to think what adding inductors to the shipment will do...)
2. Wait for this stoppage to end, then I'll ship at low or mid-priced service.
3. Some kind bloke in Oz gets a batch of boards made (i can send gerbers and walk you through the process, it's really simple) and then send around to your countrymates)... Then order the rest of the parts domestically. Anyone up for doing a "local" thing?

If you are willing to share the Gerber files with me, i will have them made and send them to those Diy'ers in Australia if they want. Shipping is a lot cheaper from SG.
Ballparked shipping figure is around Usd10 to Oz for 2 pcbs inclusive with bubble envelope.

Gary S has volunteered to get some boards made for Australia. I sent him the gerber files. elb & James I also sent him your contact info. Please coordinate directly with Gary for boards, and you'll need to get standoffs, caps, and coils domestically. It will be far more cost-effective than shipping from USA with the current pricing. Funny enough, I just got a patch shipped from a vendor in Australia shipped to me a week ago for maybe AU$1 or 2 postage. Crazy.
