Done, added to thisFred,
I would like 2 sets of 2SK2013/2SJ313 triplets, if available.
Thanks,
Jack C.
Given what I have, I think I am real close to using all up of my batch from Zhou.
If there are more demand, I will have to get 1 second batch. Let's see how this will go.

Hi Fred,
What is the Juma TF5 build? I did a search but it did not bring me anywhere usefull (except this thread🙂).
Cheers,
Nic

Sounds great if you have efficient speakers.

It is a very interesting design based on the F5. I have a 12V 100VA toriod and hopefully it will be good enough to build a line preamp - see post 42 of the thread that Buzz posted.
I would like to place an order for:
10 pair of 2SJ313/2SK2013 if you have that number.
I did not see them on the spreadsheet. I'm in the US
and would want these mailed when available.
thanks,

Hi Skip,
How do you want them matched?
I can match them between N channels and between P channels.
However, not N-P unless they end up to be close.
At this point, triplets are my focus, given I only have 100 pairs.
Thanks!!

2SK2013 / 2SJ313 are not truely complementary devices as in 2SK1530/2SJ201.
As such, there is little point in matching N to P, as you need to fiddle with source resistor to maximise distortion cancellation.

True true, that's why I emphasis no N-P match.
Because of
1. Whoever built Juma's have had good result
2. Nelson's BA-3 also uses these devices, and it is likely the same with BBA-3 (Balanced BA-3),
3. I was in the process of sending a big order to Zhou and why not a few more, LOL.
4. I really learned lately that, to get good matches, a large pool is really essential.
Juma didn't match his devices as he only had a few, but I want to 🙂

Matched N's and matched P's will be fine. I expect to put
one single ended unit together and two balanced.
thanks,
Skip

Good call, Skip.
I even forgot to add myself to reserve the quad's for the balanced (anticipated BBA-3).
I updated you to the allocation for your plan.

Precise matching is not necessary in these topologies. I matched to within 100mV and got less than 3mV offset at terminals (one was basically zero) and current sharing on fets of less than 10mV. I matched 200 and they came out in basically two sub groups that were within 100mV or less and the two groups were only seperated by 200mV.
From a current sharing point of view, I agree you do not need very tight matching.
From a distortion cancellation's point of view, I do not share your opinion, escpecially in the X configuration.

While I am on the list for the F5X fets, I haven't signed up for the boards. Where is that list?
The boards are not yet available as we are waiting for the test team to confirm that they are free of error.
