The schematic diagram published 22-10 - '24 contains an error (thanks Hans P for alerting me). The grid leak of the 519's is 475K and not 475 ohms.

For those of you who want to use the PL504 Rk becomes 1k4 which means 40ma with 250V across the tube (G2 diss.= 10W) Vb thus becomes 300V . I prefer to leave a portion of Rk non-decoupled for slightly less distortion but that's a matter of taste. For more power just increase the number of 504's, each its own Rk (PL 500's can be used as well).
