Dual triode for what? Front end of this amp?
You guys are all over the place!

Or are you going to build a F6X funny with 6V6 OTL? Why not use low output impedance triode (6AS7). Power supply would be funny, Buzz you could do it in your spare time! 🙂

It was my first tube. So you had to change a couple diapers:clown: I have matched quad of 6V6 waiting....waiting....waiting...
I am currently working on redo of boards. Waiting for Jensen to get back to me on 5 filar. Bud will be July. THinking of pre for Koan......
Started on final design of speakers. Gotta get some wood. I also need a pre for my amps......:devilr:

We dont play with no sissy 6AS7's. Actually i dont know if they are sissy. Never used one.😀

Attached is a proposed schematic of the subject. The art shows one schematic in two Cases [1 and 2] of operation. I'll explain it later.

Got a different set of speakers to listen to before sending the boards off to Flocchini. He will listen to them on some very capable speakers that he has that are modeled after the Pass Rushmores. He also has an XP preamp, so a quality source is not a concern. I look forward to his impressions.

This ap is screaming for High Efficiecny speakers that have big dynamic swing and can render detail. I am not talking false info, but spatial and layered sound. I would imagine they it will sound great with horns and something like an Accuton or Nextel driver.

Another irritating detail. In lisyening to it, i kep thinking that the left channel was stronger than the right. If i switched to F5T, seemed more balanced. Thought it might be corner loading from left side if room, but it should happen with F5T as well. Then i remembered. When building second supply, i used 22mF caps instead of 18mF. All else the same. With this amp, you can hear the difference in the total C. I am telling you,this thing is revealing..
