Notice Mr open mind is still blocking any view he finds goes against his beliefs, what an honest open person, same with the other sycophants that hang out there, only views that follow my beliefs are allowed... My relatives (and many others) that dies in WWII must be so glad they sacrificed there lives for freedom of speech.
n I havn't even got to the stupid cable yet....
I may sound cynical/grumpy than I normally am, but sat waiting to get next round of results so I find this petty mind attitudes and audiophile scams more irritating than normal.

Cheers, I've given up on the good news, never had any yet so not getting my hopes up🙂
Been reading a long interesting thread here:
Science Thread: Review of Audioquest Jitterbug and Uptone Regen USB Conditioners - Page 85

Same thing, no defence so the usual quotes, threats, moans come out, all for a USB hub, done a few of those for a company that does them and switchers, asked if they wanted to do a audiophile version, i.e. just add a few hundred dollars to the price....

I remember doing some sims that were also discredited as having no bearing on the SPDIF interface...
Now when were are laying out the boards etc for this sort of stuff its amazing what SIMs and then measurements will do for the design cycle, quantify the simulations with measurements and you can tailor the interfaces to get the best possible signal integrity...
Oh wait I'm talking heretic talk here... sorry, throw the design down, listen, tweak, listen again... viola, perfect USB implementation, why I may even lay the data lines out for 90 Ohm characteristic differential impedance...
I am playing with a DIY Jitterbug and got some USB hub schematics from Ti's site so might do my own hub, for fun and DIY friendly 0402 caps and resistors 🙂

Scotland is at great risk should these people get any more power than they already have! 🙄

The success they have had is to re-introduce Beavers....the tree eating river damming variety! (But on a 'limited' basis!)😉

They now want to re-introduce Lynx .... to supposedly control the exploding deer population. :sing::sing:

....and ........ wait for it........BEARS..........perhaps they want to believe that their favourite books as children have some truth and relevance other than putting them to sleep. 😱😱😱

Whilst on the topic I haven't heard anything for a year or two from/about the People Eat Tasty Animals brigade.

🙂

Ah, the joyful days of hitting a 2.5 Guilder Muskrat into another dimension before it bit your hand off.
Such cherished elementary school memories, 1 rat bought 5 fiberglass arrows with SS tip in those days.

(the times, they sure issa changin. Nowadays I'd rather prefer to play Deliverance games with US dentists who go by Palmer names)

Don't forget the wolves as well.

I for one welcome the re-introduction of apex predators into UK.

(note there are wolves in Berkshire, you can take them for walks!)

I don't agree Bill.

Ask yourself this: are the windswept, bare rock barren hills of Scotland a more natural habitat for our lupine friends than are the cosy saloons of fashionable re-sellers of cables at over 3K/m.? And - if they were re-homed - where would the income for the smart ad agencies, journalist/testers et al come from?? 😕

They are only windswept and bare cos the victorians cut down the caledonian forest and drove out the crofters to make grouse moors... Restoring it to its natural glory would seem a good thing?

Note: Grouse are delicious, but sure there are more efficient ways to get them into the butchers.
