I've been ignoring Geoff Kait's particular brand of nonsense but this is new, still at it amazing.
Teleportation Tweak explanation How it Works

This site is awesome!!!
It's borderline ironic!

In case of any legal action for deception they can just state that it's all science fiction.
This site is at a point that I'm not even mad anymore. If there's anyone that should buy that nonsense, then what the hell, let them pay, run out of cash and hope they do not reproduce themselves. This is evolution!
As a bonus with each sale they should also hand out a Darwin Award to the buyer.

I was watching a program the other night where Jim Al-Khalil was doing his best to explain some of the latest research ideas in quantum biology. You could see his pain in trying to explain tunneling to the masses, but interestingly there is some research that indicates we smell by detecting the vibration frequencies of a molecule rather than the shape of the molecule. I couldn't help thinking this would be a treasure trove for the snake oil brigade and waiting to see it being claimed.

I will however put my hand up and say that quantum entanglement really really does my head in as a concept!

Keep this stuff coming!

Battery Ground Tweak (BGT) - audiodirection

What's up here these guys disagree strongly with Mr. Kait?

Placing a piezo crystal in areas where strong EMF fields are present will create movement in the crystal, which if loosely anchored, say with a bit of putty or Blue Tack, will convert the EMF energy into motion and thus to heat, dissipating that energy. This is particularly effective on motor assemblies, including TT motors and CD spin motors. The peizo crystals will also work extremely well on transformers and other sited where a strong EMF is present.

Size of the crystals also does make a difference. The bigger the crystal, the lower the affected frequency. Also the nature of the crystal also has an effect. Amethyst, Aqua Aura, and rutile quartz have the most extended top end. By juggling both size and type of crystal you can fine tune your sound system.

Ironic isn't the i-word I would have chosen. :p

Pure insanity...

It has a superb effect on video, increasing sharpness and contrast, it stabilizes the power supplies and reduces motion artifacts. Best yet because the positive of the battery is not really being utilized, the battery life becomes basically the shelf life of the battery, up to 5 years for alkaline types.

Only the electrons or the "negative" are utilized.

Lets get real John, this stuff is a joke and anyone supporting it, especially crystal technology is supporting these frauds and doing audio and audiophiles an injustice, by promoting the stupid side of the hobby that gives it a bad name in the wider world.
I am seriously thinking of starting a;
KEEP AUDIO REAL
Campaign.

Marce, good to see you posting in high spirits.

The interesting thing of quacks is that they always put forward testimonials, such as here Audio Accessories - Crystals, Brilliant Pebbles.

What is going on here? Are they real? Is it the placebo effect? Or expectation bias after having spent some money?

Cheers, no other way to face life, I don't seem to get down for long these days, I don't think it helps anyway.... just lucky:)

Had a bit of fun:
The "Bits Are Bits" Fallacy and Noise In Mixed Signal Systems | AudioStream
this and other replies has given me more understanding of the hear everything need no proof crowd, I am formulating my thesis and will put it up for all to criticise soon...
A brief prevue though, basically they seem to be a mix of teenage girls attitude with a bombastic background and zero understanding of electronics (and probably acoustics). :D

I am writing a tongue in cheek view of the hard-core audiophile for fun, something I once did in a very large corporation in relation to electronics engineers (I have specialised in PCB design for 30+ years so all my electronics stuff have withered away, so happily don't consider my self one any more.), it was very tongue in cheek yet I still had engineers coming up and moaning that there not really that bad. I had classified them into various grouping of EE's, the young dynamc ones, the 40+ still with mother types, the old dynamic ones (pony tails, grey hair , goatee beard and jumper over the shoulders) etc. etc.
I may try the battery tweak on my LG 40" since the cat christened it, it has rather a lot of interference... Of course I wonder how many of these trying and coming up with this sort of tweak have actually bothered to look how signals do travel, or even heard of current loops.
Whilst it does keep us entertained, the true believers throw scorn our way and more, even insults in a couple of cases.... It does seem to be getting sillier and sillier and from my recent research around the web does seem to be perpetuated on a price basis. The more you spend equates to a better experience, and those that cant afford the top end stuff are never going to hear the difference these silly mods make, because there system is not good enough (a view helped by some on this web site). So esoteric high end audio its a marketing dream and a money cow, so reality, truth and integrity is not going to alter anything. And like the rest of the unwashed low end audiophiles I will have to sit there dribbling with envy at the real Hi-Fi equipment while listening to my sub standard components and flawed sound, at least the screeching treble overrides the screeching from the wife in the kitchen (not an audiophile) demanding I spend at least £5000 on a DAC so she doesn't have to suffer the harsh sound of digital.......
