There is a variation of the Vulcan for the Alpair 12p, Avebury.
Scott would be willing (for a fee) to do a custom version for either of the Sonindo. If you are interested, email me, and i’ll contact him, he is quite busy right now and sometimes it takes me to get his attention.

Sitting at Copenhagen airport, waiting for our flight to St Petersburg, RU. Maybe reschedule and go to Budapest: good beer, good wine, good food, thermal baths ... Sonido! 😎
Yes. This is MDF. High density.
Not my 1st choice for such a big box.

Outward size may be similar but internals are different and the Sonido has smooth internals, the Vulcan uses the Olson/Nagaoka approach where expansions at the bends act as low pass filters improving performance.

The Daleks look a lot like... Everything's been done before. It's the horn expansion and the veneer where the character is made. ;-)

+1, well almost everything. I haven’t seen the like of the Woden V-series done before. Dual mouth Big Vented Mass-Loaded Voigt.

As Vulcan? Scott calls it a hypex horn on the Woden site. Regardless, I think it is indeed highly original. But you could also argue that rear mouths have been done, split mouths have been done etc. That's kind of what I meant.
cool. how is the sound?
I use the MiniDSP to EQ, time alignment etc these. They aren't strictly full-range because they do about 25Hz to 16kHz sensibly. But in that range, they are the second finest speakers I have ever heard. The finest award goes to Genelec 1036A, and I don't expect to ever surpass it with my DIY ventures 🙂cool. how is the sound?
