You can only guess how they would sound. Then you would still be wrong.
if you assume you can second guess his imagination, you might be wrong yourself

I agree!
I put them in zigmahornet enclosure and they do wonders! Their Fs is low enough to suit that cabinet design.
There's a thread there about those drivers (new drivers have ferrite magnet, mine have neodymium ones).

They are nice, but in my opinion Fostex have better midrange
Very impressive designs! I really like the look of your omni design from the bottom of the second linked page! Speaker art! 😀
about these speakers I can talk a lot - unfortunately, I have a problem with time.
Each design is different (in order of the last photo in the second link)
- Sonido - vibrating casing - tuned.
- Exotic seas - the chamber, divided between the upper and the lower part of the housing
- Tang band - inner chamber - cross-section of the column is in the shape of a flower,
- Manger - back horn, the bottom woofer.
All protected by patents.
Have a nice day

I wonder if these strange arrangements are that much better for all the trouble to construct? A carefully designed square box with a few select drivers and a good Xover may not be that much worse for a fraction of the cost and effort.
No argument.I wonder if these strange arrangements are that much better for all the trouble to construct? A carefully designed square box with a few select drivers and a good Xover may not be that much worse for a fraction of the cost and effort.
But what's the fun in that?

But not nearly as much fun though, now are they. I think it's great to see what people are willing to try. Kudos.

well of course none of these would fit our definition of "full range" - or the 800 sq ft bachelor apartment in which we'd be residing if we tried to bring a pair home
