Thx 🙂
Arno Pf I agree with lowpoke those horns are definitely fantastic! Do you have the plans for them? How low do they go?

Hi Tom,
Measured and calculated 40Hz 🙂
Just imagine that the first biggest problem in trial listening was to get the volume down 😀
Had to get my old 2xEL84 15W and even convert that to triode to be able to adjust the volume within an acceptable range.
Next and initial challenge was to "calm" the bumps that a DX4 does have...and with minor filtering it sounds fantastic (still thinking about flatening the impedance curve though)
(In Dutch but enough pics over here: http://www.htforum.nl/yabbse/index.php?topic=112675.0 )

Arno,
Thanks for the measurement and the link. They're very nice looking and I'll wager nice sounding as well. I'm sure you'll be getting hours of enjoyment from them...

Hello Clk230. I'm curious, what type of beautiful striped wood are you using on the front & top of these speakers?

Looks to be plywood ends to me. Does have an interesting appeal.

thanks for the comments the wood is birch ply the front and top is the ends , i turned the fronts out of some black walnut the out riggers are also black walnut with adjustable feet.
i done the ply on the front this way so that it matches my turntable plinth

Yea Godzilla i love them allready. It's my first VP pair 2 weeks old, and they are getting better every day! I might just keep them as they are.
