Thank you so much Dave and nandappe for guidance, as well as everyone else that contributed to helping me pick the right parts for this build. 🙂 I learned a lot and they sound outstanding, even in my completely misshapen living room!

The drivers are Mark Audio MAOP 11's in a Pensil 11 case. I'm using an SMSL DA-9 amplifier connected to a HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro (soon to be a JDS Atom DAC) for sound.
MOAP 11, very nice. How are you finding the sound?
additional fostex t90a above my audio nirvana with audionote 0.47uf // 0.1uf ft3 teflon capacitor.
using 2.5" stell clamp + rubber is more secure than original fostex wood holder

Pretty. Nice to see a growing number of CHN-50 builds.
4.5 litre and aperiodic? Usually aperiodic is used to make a too small box look bigger. Your box is going to be very well damped, and likely a bit bass light. Would make a great midTweeter.

Dave, you are right - bass is to lean. I finally installed a port tuned in 100 hz to get proper response.
My adventures in full range over the last year or so, a selection of Scott's designs. I have posted the Sperrin before but have since followed them up with the Silbury for Alpair 10.3, and now Haruna with FE166en. Couldn't get on with the Alpairs, always sounded a little 'off' to me but loving the Haruna now. The LED backlights don't do much for the sound but certainly make them look cool! Currently pricing up parts and materials to try a full fat 208E Sigma in either Kirishima or Vulcan, or maybe giving MA another try with the Alpair 12p since I already have the Avebury plans.

@Tipper
Is that CNC router something you have access to at your place of work or is it a service you hired?

Yes it was my place of work until recently. They are a sign maker so it was normally used for shop fronts and trays, letters etc. Lucky for me they are allowing some machine time in exchange for training the new staff so speaker builds can continue for now.

you could’ve also tried a series capacitor, sealed box. Haven’t any experience myself but read it’s an old trick

I just got them back from a CNC shop to have the drivers counter-sunk into the cabinets so they're still super fresh 🙂
I listened for probably eight hours yesterday and about six so far today and I'm blown away by how good they sound even in my currently unfurnished room. I have some acoustic paneling on the way and I'm sure they'll only get better after that haha
The detail is really incredible and I couldn't be happier!
Gorgeous!
Let us know about the sound and baffle step correction on your B5...

Beautiful DIY OB Speakers!
Hey Mauro,
Those are some gorgeous DIY OB speakers my friend. What are those woofers under the Lii Silver 8's? Are they 15" or 18" and what make and model are they?
Thanks, Thetubeguy1954
the new Fullrange audio lines Silver 8 that have taken the place of the fast 8 always there

newish to me.
sla (short line array)
10' distance, I'd keep head within 1' vertical
4 x fe 87 fountek
got hf boost in (where many 3" seem to drop a few db @5khz) and acoustuf, resealed speaker baffle to box.
Definitely improved from when I got it.
Blu-ray player run wide open into it, you don't miss a single line, awesome intelligibility.
for music, it would need bass support, and baffle step would be nice also...…..
I got it for watching movies late at night when everyone else is asleep.
doing 4 x 3" also, then onto a 9 x 3" focused array.
