A12P, MAOP10.2(matched), A11MS and Pluvia 11
If you can afford them grab the MAOP10.2. They are getting rare, and based on experience and what people say is currently topof the heap. Pluvia 11 i would put at the bottom. A12p doesn’t have quite the resolution of the A10s, A11ms is a bit weird, the monoSuspension bringing benefits (greater midtange resolution) and issues (perhaps a bit lless well behaved). A coat of diluted arcylic gloss to suppress much of the HF ringing. And the paper cones benefit from a littlebit of puzzlekoat.

I like CHN110
A real sleeper, and a bargain. More neutral than many of the pricier drivers, it needs a biggish box. Works in FHXL (where i heard it) but Joan will squeeze a bit more out of it. This one hits wellabove its cost — cheap largely due to a cheap metal basket.
I am currently working on boxes for CHN110.

A12.2 has good bass, higher sensitivity (92db)
91 dB from the ones i measured.

On the Madisound site there is a Scott-designed Voigt (named?) that looks like it might appeal to the "Sibelius" crowd... provided it was folded.CHN110
What were you thinking?
I haven’t done proper drawings of a whole lot of Scott’s skletches.
The straight ML-Voigt would be part of the Festivalk series, folding it would give something topolgically similar to Sibilus, i’d guess look much like a Pensil.
a metronome would be close too, much trickier to fold.

I like how often you have promoted the qualities of CHN110 in the last weeks. I think I will order a pair and wait for the smaller CGR's or another design coming up.A real sleeper, and a bargain. Hello
I'm looking for the FHXL plans. I paid the donation and sent receipt to scottmoose@frugal-horn.com.
Is this the right way to go about this?
Thanks for any help.

And now the fun really starts! Lots of excellent advice available here, don’t be shy to post pictures and ask for input.
I'm running the TangBand W5-2143 driver in the FHXL. Had to 3d print a little adapter so it would fit into the cutouts for the MA Alpair 10.3.
The TB driver with its pole plug produces some surprising spatial effects at times and - as with the Alpair 10.3 - isn't good for all kinds of music. Bit more punch, but still within the limits of a small driver.
Currently prefer it to the MA 10.3, but that might change in the future.
Desperate to also try the Fostex FE168NS, but these drivers are quite expensive "just for trying".
Current amplifier in use: Hypex NC122MP module from aliexpress (under GBP 200 with cheap alu enclosure)

Wings i don’t know, that is ort of hat the wall or corner behind.
If you want to enhance a FH (on the outside), perhaps a supraBafflr to push the BS-3, and improve the smoothness of the 2∏ to 4∏ transition.
This is a page from the FH1 document, a bunch of potential shapes (most from the used base) but likely best would be omething that looks like the midPod in the B&W 801
