That looks like the same resistor network as discussed over here:

🙂 It's the same nesistor network, our v2 will going on this way.attenuation:£79dB£¬1dB per setp.79 setps at total.

Please confirm, your v2 will NOT be R-2R network...
If that's right, I'll be happy 🙂
Thanks Lu!
Cartman,
You should note that BBP (Lu) is offering the kits.
I don't know if Luzhu is associated with BBP, but they are very distant from each other. (I am guessing that Quangdong to Shanghai is at least as far as Florida to New York.)

Hi Predator864, manual sent 🙂
Hi cartman and benchtester,
luzhu is my brother 😀 The VOL kit V2 is under development , the goal is to design a remote attenuator without any 'pop' noise and easy to use. Maybe it will take a month's time to finish designing the cirrcuit and the testment. At last, the sound of the new kit must fit my Subjective listening

Hi luzhu, my brother, you should turn to a online translation tools to improve your writing english 😀
Thanks the all 🙂

Here is a suggestion for V2:
There are DACs that control the volume digitally inside the DAC. In such cases, the volume control can be bypassed, so in the source selector, one of the source can be designed to bypass the volume control and go straight out to the amp (this could be a jumper).

Hi Koifarm, YGM

Today received the volume control kit and the cdrom control kit in good condition.
Can you send me manuals? ronny@ict-net.net.
Products look great.
I will use the volume kit in a 2 x 400 Watt amplifier. I build the amplifier with 2 x Hypex UCD400oem, redrock smps 1000Watt, 6n6p tube preamp and vt4c aluminium housing.

BBP. Can you change the software so that the JP4 optional output P0 stays 20 sec high at power on and not 1 sec as is now.
I can use this option to let my tubebuffer to warmup for 20 sec and then switch the amp on.
It would be perfect that the display, if you turn it on counts backwards from 20 to 0 sec and then show the volume and input status.

OH dear! I have a problem!
I have only just found the time to power this up.
There is a problem with the controller / display.
When I press to go into POWER STANDBY, the display is lit!
Power it up and the display is dark but I can see some characters which are random.
The volume control works and the relays click - sometimes it displays part of the -5xdB display.
The input selector does not work - no relays click.
The remote does nothing but I can see a good signal on the "D" pin of the opto detector with my 'scope.
I have tried to show this in photographs.
Checked for bad solder, connections etc. Nothing to see. Tried a mild heat-gun. Nothing. Not mechanically intermittent.
Running from a bench power supply (Chinese made 😉 so no problem there!
