In the simulator seems fine..distortion is less than 0.00156% (THD)
Power in 2 ohms is 200 watts..... it keep more than 20 volts RMS in the output terminal to 8 ohms, 4 ohms and 2 ohms loads...of course this will depend on the supply.
It is using two supply voltages..in the reality i will use a voltage regulator to supply the 40 volts symetrical to the input circuit..so, i will use a single supply.
The voltage you see...55 to the output, will kill BD139/140, so the voltage that will be suggested to forum folks, when finished, will be plus and minus 48 volts... this way, it will dissipate 1 watt because of CCS feeding the drivers (20ma to each one of them)....i will see if the BD139 will survive...i am not sure if it can do it or not....well..other pair can be used in place.
You can use two voltages to avoid more circuit to produce a voltage regulator to the input...it is important the input receive a very stable voltage and very well filtered..so, electronic filtering to the supply is interesting.
Was not assembled..but i will do it soon.
Maybe i will include CCS option to the differential (switchable) and CCS option to the VAS (Switchable option)....will see how this one sounds first..then will check other possibilities.
Observe the voltage regulator, the positive rail regulator transistor, it has a resistance draining current to ground...much bigger than the current will circulate into the differential...so, it is a series, and a parallel voltage regulator at same time...producing a real constant voltage.
Just an idea to try.... simulator is always beautifull....real life is another story, this can sound lovely or awfull...i have to assemble...seems will have huge bass...that kind of bass the speaker goes moving because of vibration..but i have to listen first.
Those overcomplicated schematics, often sounds awfull...will see if this one will be a diamond or a lemmon.

You can see 500 ohms rail resistances...they are there only for indication purposes, in the reality, left side will enter 45 volts...from a second transformer winding, from a voltage regulator (my case) or the resistance can be used to provide the needed voltage drop (last and worst option).

It will be released before april, 21.... this date is dead line.
Here you have the rail voltage regulator, each rail will drain 30 miliamperes because of resistor sinking current... the voltage regulator is my personal option because the transformer i will use is not good, draining huge current it has enormous voltage drop...so, i will use the voltage regulator to keep things under control...if not 45 volts, i will be able to adjust to 40 and will have total stability.
Another transformer winding, another transformer output, or another transformer is a better idea....so,you can rectify and filter and plug it in the place you see the 500 ohms resistance with the left side open...this resistance means the voltage regulator...just connect the regulator input to the resistance rigth side and the regulator output to the differential series/parallel voltage regulator.
The rail resistance can do the job, if you have a very good supply, without too much losses..let's say, around 10 percent full power draining current.
So, there are three options,... the resistance if you have good supply, the voltage regulator if your supply is bad, or another transformer coil, giving you from 35 to 50 volts DC.
Output voltage should be 48 volts while using BD139/140 as drivers..to use higher voltages, till 65 volts, then use other transistors to the driver position.
The voltage regulator series pass transistors (BD139 and BD140) will face 0.030A (30 miliamps) and 10 volts will be from colector to emitter..this means 300 miliwatts...maybe will need a very small piece of aluminium... 1.5 X 1,5 centimeters if squared.... shorts in the input will kill these regulator..so, a small 250 miliamperes fuse to each rail is a good idea.
Even to 48 volts i have to test the BD130/140, as i am not absolutelly sure they will survive.

No problems to use a darlington transistor in the voltage regulator.
As i have some TIP101 and the complementary, i will use them to make things more simple.
If your supply is huge..then install 470 ohms, 1 watt resistances to each rail and everything gonna be all rigth.... the voltage regulator is to be used, when you have not a good supply, or when you have not another winding to collect a second voltage to your amplifier.

I have decided to try another amplifier because i had a thunderstorm this early
morning....and i was thinking that to reproduce this we need not only a fast circtuit with astounding slew rate, but also something that can play differences of dinamics (high power and low noise), also something really falt going to subsonic frequencies..... because of that i tried to do something that can sound so good in the treble range but also with dinamics and deep bass.
That's what i am searching for.
Here the thunderstorm that made me think about... of course, camera microphone and wave recording, low sample, with built in compressor, cannot show that quality..but for sure i could listen and i perceive no amplifier i could listen could do that...so..i am trying something that can do that..this is the point, this is the target, the objective:

storm sound, but also the lightnings and clouds...

The transfomer was tested and was painted....so.... will go ahead preparing supply,then the amplifier..one each time.
It is obvious...not exactly obvious...people have to move... if you start, then one day you will finish..not starting...things does not happens.

I have to adjust the driver current.... Precision II have used 22mA
I do not know the current for this one..will try less..maybe 18mA.
Do you have a suggestion for the current to be used... seems to me it is always much more than needed..and we are not loading the drivers..say...not dinamically... we are not loading statically, during stand by.
