Yeah, as you said! 😉I understand that. For most of us, our viewpoint is our truth.

Also, our personal experience. There are things that happen to people that others cannot believe because they live in another world
You know, my english isn't so good.
I think Bogdan wanted to express the contradiction between man's silly demands and the sustainability of the natural environment.
At least, this is the way as I can interpret it.

Communication of ideas can be difficult at the best of times, Bogdan is the only one who knows what he really means and if he wants to try and clarify that's up to him. Personally I think that sometimes confusion can throw up interesting ideas, I'm aware though that many people here are adverse to this kind of thing as they are more factually/scientifically inclined

Well that I can 100% agree to!
But those demands are not silly for us, they are silly when viewed from the outside, from Nature's point of view. We all want a nice house to live in, a comfortable car or two, a high-end system. For us it is not silly because that is the way evolution (😉) made us.
But I agree, seen from the sustainablility of the environment they are pretty silly.

See, that's exactly what I'm talking about.
There are places in the world where even my only one 22 year old car, my small home and home built hifi are enchanting.
And we did not talk about of the silly claims of the richest 1%.

There you go again "Nature's point of view", what ARE you on about?? 😕😉
To be honest, I'm not sure either ... 😎

It is not about what you have, it is what most of humanity are striving for. There are only very, very few people that would not strive for better conditions, some more money, a better job, etc. Most who don't are generally quite old ;-)

From my viewpoint it is about what I have.
And others don't have.
I think humanity has to get off the high horse.
Most of us, we are just the saddle on that high horse.
But the jockey drives that horse.
As long as it does not pull him out of the saddle.

I like that analogy.....we like to imagine we are in control........and have free will......and our lives have meaning......
Well, can we talk about something else?
For example:
Who is right about artificial intelligence, Mr. Bill Gates, Mr. Elon Musk and Mr. Stephen Hawking, or Mr. Mark Zuckerberg?

Unfortunately, I do not have much to do with biology, but this is also an interesting topic:

By all means, my knowledge of their views are limited I'm afraid, although Stephen I believe is worried and Mark and Bill probably see it as an opportunity for world domination? Don't know who Elon is 😱
In spite of my knowledge, I can only recommend this:

I would like to advice to read it.
Especially for Mr. Zuckerberg. 😉
Then you can think about it.

When I first learned about Mitochondrion - Wikipedia I was amazed

I did not accidentally confront the first three with the last one.
