Yikes, lots of their lateral fet stock is out. Handfuls here and there of some models. Hopefully they replenish soon. Get yer TO3 cans while you can (they've been EOL for 2 yrs.).

Contact them. When I ordered a few yrs. back, website said out of stock but they did have inventory.

Hello. Picked up this used First Watt F7 in a HiFi shop in Auburn CA. When I got it home, I realized the model number says “Pilot Run”. The owner of the shop said the person that brought it in, said it was given to them by Nelson Pass. I that was pretty cool. The F7 sounds pretty darn good!

So, question for the hive on the F7. What do you recommend for a preamp for the F7? I’d gladly take recommendations of DIY kits here, and prebuilt preamps. I love this amp and love my Zu’s. The preamp is the missing piece. Thanks for your help.
