In the FirstWatt catalogue, the M2 follows the J2, with M for Mosfet, J for JFet. It's the only second amplifier in the range to sell through dealers and distributors. The previous six, F1 through F5 plus Aleph J, sold only direct. They also were limited editions of 100. Like the J2, the M2 will be made in higher volumes...."

Sure there's a way - buy one and take it apart. Not very cost efficient though.I see. I understand that there is no way that an exact F7 schematic could be obtained.
F7 is for sissies , having wrong type of speakers
You mean those with flat freq responses haha 😉
Running it through some test speakers before going to the sonus faber''s. 😉
The black box on the right is an M2 on loan from Schubert. 😀
Big thanks to oreo382 for filling in the blanks and trusting me with his sim.

You're very welcome Vince.
This amp is relentless. Everything sounds good on it (that's recorded well): rock, electronic, jazz, classical, etc. It's a damn freight train, plowing through music collections. Then you turn it down all the fine details are still there! Did I mention non-fatiguing? Been listening way louder than normal with no urge to turn it down.
My speakers are 6db down at 40hz and it doesn't even matter. Just man-handles the drivers.
It's a "blue eyed murderer in a size 5 dress"- small, beautiful, powerful and dangerous!
