First One - mosFET amplifier module

After a strong tightening the transistor c3503 broke and I have to replace it. Is it possible direct replacement with a 3503?which type can i use?Any help is welcome.Thanks

Have two slightly modiefied L moduls never mounted. Because to busy and waiting for the new.Picture in the tread. Price 300 Us Dollars. Live in Denmark. I know how to make them stabile.

Erlend what changes you made to stabilize them?

Extra 2.4 kohm in series with input. 0.1 ohm in series with output. And a modd at the Tp spots. Resistors in series with measurement Leads.

Is Silmic 2 a bad choice? Seems IT is the only explanation why IT is oscillating. Made IT earlier with Spraque Atom without problems.

I would like to know how these modules compare against First watt - designs, anyone compared? After M2x I will build some Class-AB amp, just don't know what. It seems that there is 1.6 version coming? Speakers are Martin Logans.

The presentation is very different to anything FW. These amps can work well with a much wider variety of speakers than FW, but electrostats... dunno, would be a bit apprehensive of fireworks. Unless someone has actual experience of such a marriage.

Will the new modules have stabilized power supply for the VAS ?

Hi Theo

Just +V pin and -V pin to connect external regulated stabilized voltage PSU for VAS front-end. This external PSU has to provide 100 mA DC current and max. 3 V higher voltage than main PSU.
