First One - mosFET amplifier module

The presentation is very different to anything FW. These amps can work well with a much wider variety of speakers than FW, but electrostats... dunno, would be a bit apprehensive of fireworks. Unless someone has actual experience of such a marriage.

I am also very interested in differences between First Watt and First one models.
Analog_sa, would be much appreciated if you could share more on your experience

First One amplifier tested few times on Martin Logan Prodigy speaker, last test two weeks ago, one test also few years ago. No problem at all, moderately simple speaker to drive, from DC up to 5 kHz impedance no less than 4 Ohm, from 5 to 20 kHz linear drop (capacitive impedance of the panel) from 6 Ohm down to 1,5 Ohm. Owner said the First One has more 'juice' and definition on bass than MC2 S1400 power amp, and as 'airy' as tube amp. In short ;)

First One prototype built in 2016, upgrades performed till the end of 2017. Took few images before it left the building and went to a new home in Hungary. It serves us well, enabling us learning process and progress all the way the end of 2018 when new modules go into production. Yes, tomorrow few hundred PCB-s will start new life cycle. Thanks to the amp bellow.

as i know you can only buy the complete pcb with solder parts. Only pcb is not available

Thats right. LC announced new modules will be even partially dipped in epoxy...

Thanks for the update. What will be the components for the PCB only option? is it SMD also? How much is the cost of the PCB?

Don't get me wrong, but you should do some reading across the thread...
