As I said lately, v1.3 will be presented on local Hi-Fi show, taking place 3-5.10. in Ljubljana.
Depending on majority of responses I'll decide whether v1.3 will be released and if, when.

Yes, and here's the second sign of battery powered preamp.
Buffering stage with TKD ladder type attenuator still to come. Preamp Will have two outputs high Z and low Z. High Z output is passive output with of course zero gain, low Z output (few Ohms output impedance) is buffered and set to +6 dB voltage gain.
In listening position everything supplied from mains is completely disconnected, so pure battery DC to passive/buffer stage and believe me this can be heard so well.

After Hi-Fi Exhibition in Ljubljana and Zagreb Hi-Fi Show new threads will be started in Vendor's Bazaar. New thread for the First One amplifier module v1.3, new thread for the First One accu powered preamplifier and new thread for First One accessories like VU peak-rms meter, DC sense, FO soft start, etc.
Also exact pdf instructions of how to transform First One amplifier module v1.2 to v1.3 will be presented, but only individually to the ones who can and will send a firm proof of finished & functional First One v1.2 amplifier. Version transformation instructions will be step by step, doubtless, pictures followed instructions, so anyone could do it by himself in an easiest way.

First One black chassis - Cable management
Hi all
First One v1.3 "Black Mamba" from post #1403 finished today.
In order to be very clear here's photo bulletin of proper cable management in a official First One chassis to have the least stress of EMI. Be careful of how mains cabling is routed through the chassis.
New builders can observe the detailed views and get some ideas of implementations in their own chassis assembly.

As promised two new modules revealed before installing into chassis.
Buffer preamplifier can be ladder attenuator or shunt attenuator type PCB.
VU rms-peak meter is linear from DC-100 kHz and shows two ranges power levels: -40 dB to -10 db and -30 dB to 0 dB
Both are suited to work with First One amplifier module, VU meter fits nicely to front plate in official C1 chassis.
