Supply DC current to the First One module, without input signal present, is 280 mA, multiplying it with 120 V rails potential, gives 33,6 W of total quiescent power dissipation per module, so in stereo total 67,2 W. That is serious thermal loading for the chassis and heatsink if one would want amp to be below 45 degrees in a room environment. 😎
There will be two designs of a chassis, one similar as it was, the other quite different, both with unique signature to the First One series. The company preparing them said they're in final stage of preparations.

I lost time because after adjusting well and redid all the measures with my HB- 300 AB amp , I had to solve the assembly, attempting to offer a simple attachment inside your case , considering the heat dissipation in elegant way.
Then 2 options. as in the picture complete with 3mm thick bottom panel (in case you do not have a bottom plate 2 -3mm in your case, or without bottom plate (but with the ability to mount on your bottom plate if you have.
In addition to testing , this means that they have already produced this frame x quantity ( 100pcs) for now . I need to use this version of DPS-500/DA on my new A-B amp also.

Audiopower DPS-500/DA ? hmmm , does inspire trust too much though. I gave a hope to them and I was about to order one for my project till I found one post on the forum where someone diysmps dismantled one power supply and Showed how was built . I find it as a " Coldamp reloaded" with contradictory informations and specks , flooding annoying advertisement and promotion made by the very single guy who promote ' them ( and probably produce them in china too ) and lack of positive feedback from neutral or trust Able sources.

I decided: not to send the two DPS-500 at LC (very sorry for this), I do not want to be in this game of competition, certainly unfair. I do not need this.
only reason that I have developed this special smps, is that there is no other possibility to offer new performances on our new amp.
for some who bought this smps or the DPS- 400 (also perfect for this amp LC )

Today there is a great method if you buy with paypal. you have 40 days for the pushbutton rembursument, even without a specific reason. then I do not understand what the problem is, if a product does not have the real specs.
The DPS-500 is not to experiment. I just recalibrated for the change of low ESR caps.
some tests on the thermal behavior, as you can choose to mount without any problems. no more, the project is well proven in the past two years.

It is a VERY bad decision, because it looks like you are not confident in your own product. What do-you expect ? That L.C. has enough time to lose to make reverse engineering of your SMPS and publish your schematic ? (Oh, my Lord !). Easy: sign non disclosure agreement with him if you are paranoiac.
And, believe-me, most of us, here, with L.C. first, know what is quality price ratio: The original one he chosen was not a cheap product.
You just lose sells, and occasion to have your SMPS reviewed by somebody *independent* very competent, and only interested in quality. Both on the technical side (Stability, currents, noise, leakages, AC rejection etc...) and the subjective one (how it sound). And the same feeling for the time you spend to send-it: Did your SMPS don't work out of the box, and require special care before to be reviewed ?
That is the strangest decision you could take. It gives a VERY bad image of your product.

I have explained well the time for send smps to LC. this is a special version derived from DPS-500/DA standard. trafo changed and at last the low esr caps. a lot of listen in audio room (3 hours at 70% of power, yes we listen Pop jazz at 350w for ch, no caos...voice and bass.. straight in the stomach.
