No rush and thank you for your Xmas present to the DIYA community!
What 3D CAD software did you use to model this? If you post the 3D model, people with know-how can also modify the holes to their liking saving you time of having to make the mod yourself. Usually, an IGES file is readable by most packages. if you don’t want to post this that’s ok and we understand.
Thanks.

I used autodesk inventor I can output the IGES file when I post the stl file as well. Merry Christmas to all the DIYAUDIO community!
What is the mounting information for the TC9FD18-08?The datasheet is here but it’s not very clear what the hole diameter is based on the sheet.
Cutout Diameter: 76 mm.
Overall Diameter: 93 mm.
Mounting Depth: 45 mm.
Bolt Hole Circle: 85 mm.
Sound Imports at least gives the mounting bolt circle diameter.
Hang on - I quickly went to measure mine (not very accurate), but it's mounted in a mini Karlsonator and looks more like 89mm. Someone will have to confirm the correct measurement. Sorry.
Btw - I really loved the sound of the TC9FD in a mini Frugal Horn I built for someone else. It was not exactly the same plans as the one in this thread, but very close.

I seem to remember using as a stencil for the cutout, the inside diameter of a cardboard tube that packing tape is wound on (the 3in diameter one) for dispensing handle with serrated cutter.
I found that peerless makes the driver. the bolt pattern is 89.50. the cutout I used is based on XR suggestion using ScanSpeak 10F/8424, so the cutout I made 79.5 mm diameter and has the same bolt pattern, I also put a big chamfer on the back edge of the cutout. the screw holes are 3.0mm, you can tapped them for a m4 but the drivers usually come with self tapping screws. also the walls of the BLH is 12mm thick not the 15mm, my mistake. I did IGES files as well but the site will not let me see the files to post, I'm assuming that type of file are not allowed to be posted? also I posted a picture of the cement that I used to bond the 2 halves. the cement melts the surface some and will fuse the 2 surfaces. it sets fast too. Merry Christmas everyone!

Super Xmas gift for all from Tiverson!
Thank you.
One way to post files is to zip them first - but if files are too large they may not let you upload. If not, folks can PM you I suppose.
