We often have the same problem....😀
I have a new idea, n-channel and p-channel pairing difficulties, like current-stage transistor, the buffer level too, with two n-channel JFET. B1 for circuit changes.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
But it wasn't a push-pull circuit, therefore need to be bigger than the original circuit operating current. May need more than a DS of 12mA current.
(15-year old here started a weekend job in a greenhouse today, sa/su. g/f asked me to smell him when he returned, for what kind of "green". A week ago, he asked her if she would be interested in "financed" greens in our back yard)
R100 is very expensive.

PSU mod
today I did the modification Nelson showed in the F6 talk, splitting the resistors and last two caps to serve the channels more separated.
I added the pictures for the mod for stereo PSU, so you do not need to look in the article...🙂
Nelson wrote .....
"It's the same thing except that you can split the RC networks out to each channel separately.
These sorts of filters are very effective in lowering the noise, particularly the higher order harmonics of the ripple noise."
I did it and sound changed considerably.....
It is a nightmare, changes even in this region of the amp changes the sound....😀
I like it!
thanks 😀😎😀

...take care to cut the right traces and add the right wire when your PSU is already made in the old way and you have to change it to the new system....
😱

Why did you have to say that... Aargh! 😱😱😱
My F6 PSU is going to be external, and I don't have enough terminals on the umbilical I have designed around to do that.
Oh well... It's going to be cool regardless, I think. 😀
Go full dual mono and forget about such things 😛
I have thought about that as well, but I have the transformer already, and the quantity of pins on the umbilical would still be an issue...
