Two principal variables are at play in Pass designs. The nature of the power output devices used, and secondly the circuit topologies utilizing them. Four combination have appeared todate:

• New power device and novel circuit [SIT]
• New linear device [R100A] and modified old circuit; e.g. F6
• Old devices [MOSFETs] and innovative circuits [the rest]
• Old devices and old circuits [not applicable]

Will F6 by Pass ever come to be in the hypothetical absence of R100A? In the absence of new and down to earth linear power devices, F7 is predicted to be a novel circuit with MOSFETs or even bjts.

most important thing , resulted from Papa's playin' (spanned over several years) with SJEP, SJDP and his own PASS SIT-1 (all of these unobtanium for us , mere mortals ) is - that he's able to achieve desired THD spectra using whatever parts he throw on the bench .

that means happyhappyjoy for Common Greedy Boy , both now and in a future
