i have some news for you.
it seams that UkToeCutter has taken a aston martin vanish on us.
so, much info was lost.
but. variac and my self was determand to get this finnished. so we have now got another party involved, and gerber files is on its way. an hopefully soon to be in production. this time, the outputs board will space 2fets/diodes pr board. so it can be used eighter as V2 or V3. monoblock or stereo amp🙂 stay tuned🙂

So Wayne, you would want a single gain stage per channel and 4 pairs of output devices? That would be 2 N's output boards and 2 P output boards per channel, because each board has 2 MOSFETS and 2 diodes. Each gainstage board has 2 ch but will be able to be snapped in two to use them separately. Or if you want balanced, then you need the entire gainstage board for each channel .

For two channels:
I think: ne gain stage bd and 4 N outputs and 4 P outputs.
assuming you aren't doing balanced..

Probably they will be packaged as a gain board with one N board and one P board.
Then a second optional package with one N board and one P board.

variac. pack it as folow. one set outputs. 2 N ch and 2 P ch boards🙂
thats whats needed for a V2. and sell gainstage board as one item. like the BA series🙂
and drop the balaced🙂 there will be a need for more experiance and testing before that can be done.

or maybe one start pack. with 2ch gainstage and 2pc Nch and 2 pc Pch boards🙂
and a pack of 2 N ch and 2 P ch boards on the side🙂

Not doing balanced , Can the single gain stage drive 4 pr ? if it can then that would work for me. I think the modular way first envisioned by toe would work for everyone , you add stages as need be ...
